Originally from Milan in Italy, Giacomo studied at the Conservatory of Music in his hometown graduating in Music Performance in 2007. Soon he started an intense musical activity in many orchestras and chamber ensembles in Italy and abroad, participating in tournées in Europe, Asia and South America and collaborating with several renowned musician as Ennio Morricone, Riccardo Muti, Vince Tempera, Salvatore Accardo. He moved to China in 2013 winning the audition at the Guiyang Symphony Orchestra, and successively being appointed as Principal Viola at the Xi’An Symphony Orchestra. From 2015 to 2021 he was instrumental and orchestral Lecturer and Instructor at the College of Music of Mahidol University, Bangkok, taking active part in several music festivals and giving the premieres of several solo works for Viola. He got licentiated with Honor at the Associated Board of Royal School of Music in 2017, being invited as Solo performer at the Award Ceremony held in Singapore in 2018. He got a Master Degree of Music in Performance & Pedagogy in 2019 fromMahidol University. Since 2023, he will be Music Teacher at the RDF School of Shenzhen, China.
