Anna brings seven years of dedicated experience as a creative educator, spanning university and K-12 settings. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of artistic disciplines, from traditional mediums to digital media and conceptual art. Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alberta and an accelerated Master of Fine Art in Media Art from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Notably, in 2018, she received a prestigious scholarship and research grant to teach at the China Academy of Art, highlighting her recognized talent and cultural exchange contributions.
Anna's teaching prowess is evident in her students' success, with many gaining acceptance into prestigious institutions like Parsons, UAL, and Oxford University. She is certified in internationally recognized curricula, including Cambridge, Edexcel, and IBDP, demonstrating her commitment to rigorous academic standards. Beyond the classroom, her artistic practice explores human-animal interactions through various mediums, including ceramics and jewelry design, and she is actively researching clinical art therapy.
Her teaching philosophy centers on creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. She believes in fostering lifelong learners who embrace both structure and creative freedom. Anna aims to empower students to explore their artistic potential and develop the confidence to pursue their creative passions.
