Dennis was born in Texas into a military family. He has lived all over the US and attended university in Germany for a few years, then graduated from the University of Maryland in 1998 with a Bachelor's degree in Literature. He completed his Master's (MEd) in Education and (PhD) in Psychology from Charleston State. He has taught all ages of students from kindergarten to university lectures. Dennis has a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has taught martial arts since he was a teenager. He also is a book narrator, having done children's and a self-help books available on Amazon, Audible and iTunes.
