Rob is originally from New York and has been living in Shenzhen since 2010. He holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Northeastern University, a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Leicester, and a PGCE from Leeds Beckett University. He has more than 16 years of teaching experience, specializing in literature, language arts, and language acquisition.

In addition to his teaching career, Rob was a co-founder of Lingoist Education Solutions, an educational consulting and language training company that served a range of international corporations in Shenzhen, including clients such as Grand Hyatt and CMA CGM. Outside of work, Rob enjoys learning new languages, reading, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
